Disabilities Awareness Teacher Support Service (DATSS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by educators and support teams, that work with students with disabilities.
We understand that disabilities span a wide range of neurological, physical, and behavioral conditions—including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and obsessive-compulsive disorders, among others.
At DATSS, we recognize that every student’s needs are different—what proves effective for one learner may not work for another. Our mission is to provide educators and support teams with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to meet these diverse needs and foster meaningful learning experiences for all students.

DATSS is dedicated to supporting educators and support teams, working with students with disabilities in the local and global communities. We share their goals in helping students reach their highest potential. We provide teaching strategies designed to address the unique needs of each teacher's student.

We also offer Educational Materials, 1:1 Coaching, Group Coaching, Virtual Support, In Person Workshops, Live Webinars that can increase the effectiveness of educators and support teams when working students with disabilities.
We step up to support educators and support teams to become efficient and effective in helping students with disabilities.
DATSS firmly believes in the dedication and commitment it takes to be an effective educator or member of a support team. We believe this level of devotion deserves access to the resources, training, and support necessary to effectively serve students with disabilities.
DATSS seeks to support educators, both locally and internationally, in their efforts to assist students with disabilities reach their full potential.
DATSS aims to empower educators—both locally and internationally—to effectively support students with disabilities in reaching their fullest potential.
Dr. Comfort Walker believes that Special Education Teachers and Care Teams have the power to transform their local and global communities through their work with students with disabilities.
However, the strength of that impact depends on whether these dedicated individuals and teams receive the focused support, training, and resources they need to meet the unique challenges each student presents.
It was from this deep understanding—and an unwavering commitment to equitable education—that Dr. Walker founded the Disabilities Awareness Teacher Support Service (DATSS): to ensure that those who serve students with disabilities are never without the guidance and tools they deserve to help every child reach their full potential.
We provide Awareness and Support regarding students with disabilities.
